Foreskin removal surgery. It is indicated in the presence of a phimosis or sclerosis of the foreskin, conditions in which the foreskin ring is tight and does not allow the foreskin to slide over the glans. Ritual circumcision is an intervention of circumcision practiced for religious reasons, in the absence of phimosis.
